Tiana’s bike ride for Open Door St Albans

Throughout May, I aim to ride my bike for Open Door, St Albans. I aim to ride 80km. I don’t really cycle much but I was inspired to help people without a home after reading Onjali Q. Raufs THE NIGHT BUS HERO. This is a book telling us that everyone can be a hero, but mostly telling a story about homelessness. At the end of the book, the author told a real-life heart touching story that her book was based on. This story almost had me in tears.

All of the money raised from this bike ride will go towards helping those in need of a home, a blanket or just somewhere to go. EVERYONE DESERVES A HOME.

Please help me reach my target of £150.00. Did you know that it was estimated that 274,000 people were estimated to be homeless in England in 2021 with even more people likely to lose their homes?

Your donation really means a lot to me, to Open Door and to the homeless people of St Albans. Thank you.

Love Tiana age 10. x
