Aylett Nurseries provide Open Door with a Christmas Tree each year, which service users enjoy decorating.
Volunteer Co-ordinator Open Door Sarah Chambers said:
“A Christmas tree can really make a difference. We’re fortunate to work with Aylett Nurseries who year on year provide Open Door with a Christmas Tree. Christmas can be a difficult time of year for many of the service users, but something as small as a Christmas tree can offer some festive cheer, and we’re very grateful for the gesture each year.”
Georgina Bunker Aylett Nurseries Customer Service and Social Media said:
“Aylett Nurseries is more than just a business. As a St Albans based family business Aylett’s believe the local area and community are important. We’re happy to support such a worthwhile Charity with a Christmas tree each year”
Open Door have been incredibly fortunate to work with Aylett Nurseries over the years. Aylett Nurseries has a long-standing relationship with Open Door and has helped the Charity in many ways – from plant care advice, sourcing appropriate plants and providing the charity with a sensory garden. Aylett’s invited Sarah Chambers (Volunteer Co-ordinator) to the locally based Garden Centre and advised on the most suitable plants for the garden and generously donated them to Open Door.
